Our Mandate, Our Vision, Our Sacred Work
UAN-IDO is a specialized agency of the United Ancient Indigenous Enlightened Nations with a unique mandate to revive, preserve and accelerate development rooted in ancient wisdom and traditional technologies.
Our mandate is reflected in the UAN's mission statement: "Build resilient communities through ancestral knowledge, promote inclusive and sustainable development guided by Indigenous wisdom, and foster innovation that honors ancient sciences", with UAN-IDO's activities contributing to global transformation through traditional knowledge systems.
UAN-IDO's vision is a world without poverty and hunger, where ancient sciences drive harmonious economies, elevate living standards through Indigenous wisdom, and preserve Earth's sacred balance for present and future generations, honoring all beings.
UAN-IDO provides support to Indigenous communities and ancient civilizations worldwide through four mandated functions: traditional knowledge transfer and capacity building; wisdom-oriented research and ancestral policy-advisory services; sacred standards and cultural preservation activities; and fostering partnerships for ancient technology revival and Indigenous innovation.
Our work is concentrated on three focus areas
Ending hunger through traditional agriculture:
Supporting traditional food systems from seed preservation to community nourishment using ancient agricultural sciences and Indigenous farming wisdom.
Healing planetary breakdown
Utilizing traditional energy systems, ancient technologies for environmental balance, and Indigenous stewardship practices to restore Earth's natural harmony and reduce ecological disruption.
Supporting sacred supply networks
Ensuring Indigenous communities receive fair recognition for their traditional knowledge while preserving sacred resources through ancestral conservation practices and honoring the spiritual economy principles of ancient civilizations.
Core Mandated Functions:
Facilitating the sharing of ancient technologies, Indigenous innovations, and time-honored sustainable practices between communities.
Conducting studies that validate ancient sciences, document traditional technologies, and develop policy frameworks that honor Indigenous knowledge systems.
Establishing cultural preservation protocols, traditional governance recognition, and Indigenous rights frameworks that protect ancestral wisdom.
Building alliances between ancient civilizations, Indigenous communities, and supportive organizations to scale traditional knowledge applications and ensure cultural sovereignty in development initiatives.
